Geocache Description:
The original Campout Crew is taking a break from hosting the Anual Geo Campout this year.
Since many have shown an intrest in still having it, some of the San Diego Geocachers are hosting the campout.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who is helping and / donating this year and to skillet for prior years cache page layout!

WHEN: NOV 10/11/12 Friday evening through Sunday morning). You do not have to stay the entire weekend.
WHERE: Ocotillio Wells EVENT center Main street and highway 78!
Event Center has flush toilets and showers next to it. Toilets free and the showers need tokens that can be bought at the Discovery Center. We may have some on hand? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are not planning on spending the night, that is OK too, come on out and spend the day and have some great dinner and a movie (GIFF) before you go home. A lot of the Caches out here you can get with just a street vehicle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those of you that may want hookups (water and Elect) try Mobiland RV park It's only just down the street and a couple of blocks down from the campout. You do need to call soon for reservations though. Showers and a pool too -------------
FRIDAY, 10th: EVENING * Camp Set-Up / camp
GCAEN9J: Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange II. The puzzles will be out and available all weekend until thay are all gone. Any remaining will be donated.
SATURDAY, 11th * All day Geocaching
Poker Run - Payout will be distributed after dinner.

EVENING - 7 PM
Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) event has been planned for the evening.
GCAER7N: GIFF 2023. Stay and watch short clip movies created by geocachers from around the world. Geocachers will receive a souvenir for attending / watching the GIFF.
Scorpion Walk after the GIFF
After the GIFF event, grab your BLACK lights for the adventuroug annual Scorpion Walk hosted by BDTZ! Walk through the desert (close to camp) to see the scorpions glow in the dark. This is a safe walk and we have seen them every year.
Sunday, 12th--- Have some fun before you go home and explore the Desert.
GCAEQV8: GeoOcotillo Desert Cleanup CITO 2023. If you have not already earned a 2023 CITO Season souvenir, this would be your change to get it. Bags will be available all weeken in the campout ring.

If you bring your Cache finding Dog with you, they must be on a leash at all times,they must be dog and people friendly.
And Most importantly you must pick up after them! No Wayward landmines can be left behind.!!!!
