October 21st is National Reptile Day! According to the Burke Museum, Washington State is home to 25 species of amphibians (salamanders and frogs) and 28 reptiles (turtles, snakes and lizards)!
It may be cold and wet in the Pacific Northwest in late October, but our shared love of reptiles and geocaching will warm our hearts. Come hang out and chat with some local cachers. I will be making some fun stickers for all attendees (pics to come).
This event will be near or at the picnic benches south of shelter #4 rain or shine.
There are TWO parking lots, but if they are full you can try to park in the residential area across the street. If you are arriving by bus the C line has a stop right at the park. You will have to walk down from the parking lot to the shoreline, but it is a well paved trail.
