As the members of the haunting and haunted gather at the desolate Transylvania castle, this will be an evening away from mortals where the supernatural community can come together to celebrate and carouse!
During the night of spooktacular fun, one of the party-goers will end up in a grave they have dug for themselves. Desperate to avoid becoming victims themselves, the ghoulish guests will seek out the culprit in their midst
Perhaps the murderer will be the bewitching witch with a cross to bear?
A mollified mummy who needs to keep things under wraps?
Or possibly a vindictive vampiress who was once bitten twice shy?
What lies ahead is a hauntingly complex night during which the spooky and the spirited collide to solve a mystery designed that will leave you spellbound........
Event Time: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Or whenever people feel like leaving. LOL!)
Event Activities: Interactive Halloween Themed Murder Mystery Game!! ,Halloween Costume Contest, Potluck Dinner, Werewolf themed haunted hike, Visiting, and TB Discovering.
Part 1 ~ Starting at 4 pm, we will be doing another Murder Mystery Party! Woot! Woot! (Remember GC8Q8YB: Murder Among the Mateys last year? Yep! We're doing it again!!) This year's Murder Mystery will be Terror in Transylvania! The theme is Dracula's birthday party and has tons of classic Halloween Monster characters such as vampires, werewolves, bats, mummies, Frankenstein's Monster, witches, cats, ghosts, Dr. Jekyll, grim reapers, etc. So ALL classic Monster type costumes will work for this event!!
Part 2 ~ While we are mingling around trying to solve our murder mystery (Or afterwards - however it works out.), we will also be enjoying a potluck dinner! We will provide a charcuterie board of sorts. Please tell everyone what you are bringing toward the potluck when you log your will attend!
Part 3 ~ When it gets dark enough, our resident werewolf will be hosting a short haunted hike close to the house! Dovahal is looking forward to scaring....I mean seeing...you!!

What to Bring: (1) We will be having a pot luck dinner, so please tell us what you will be bringing for the dinner in your log (2) We have enough seating for 18-22, but if we have more attendees than that, you may need to bring a camp chair (3) A drink for yourself if you'd like something specific (4) A smile of course!! 🙂

• Come dressed in your best Classic Halloween Monster Themed Costumes* to participate in an interactive Murder Mystery game!
• This event is friendly towards all ages - it is a Halloween themed event that will include a clean Classic Halloween Monster themed Murder Mystery activity. The "Murder" will not involve an actual body or blood - nothing that kids could not see.
• When you log your Will Attend (as a positive will be there and will be participating log), we will send you information on a random character for you to play.
• Be sure to log your "Will Attend" early to become a specific player if you want the best experience from this interactive game!! Deadline to be assigned a specific character is October 13th, 2023.
• If you just aren't sure that you can make it, but decide at the last minute that you can attend, you will still be able to fully participate as an Investigator!!
• ** Note: You do NOT need to participate in any of the activities to attend this event! **
• EVERYONE - Characters, Investigators, AND non-participating attendees are free to participate in the costume contest, have a delicious potluck dinner, or just come and say hi!
** Costume Clarification: Classic Halloween Monster Costumes are recommended and encouraged, but you can come to this event in any Halloween Costume you choose! The Murder Mystery has a general Classic Halloween Monster theme so if you are participating in that and wish to stay in character, you will need specific costumes. If you are participating as an investigator (or you do not wish to dress in character), you can dress as anything you wish ~ including not being dressed up in a Halloween Costume!
