Devils Lake! It sounds more sinister than it is.
A sign at the start of the trail explains that European missionaries misinterpreted the native stories about potent spirit beings that live here and they named this place Devils Lake.
A 4km trail now wraps around the lake. It's a rough trail, but not something Westcoast hikers haven't seen before. Along the way, you'll get a few nice views of the lake, and Rolley Peak behind. At the south end, a floating bridge completes the loop.
Due to tree cover and overhead powerlines, coordinates may not be accurate. Make sure to use the hint.
