---

During the summer of 2023, I was fortunate enough to go on a geocaching road trip with my son, daughter-in-law and grandson all the way from Missouri to Pennsylvania. We found a lot of wonderful caches along the way; oldies, lab caches, virtuals and even some letterboxes.  But there were a whole bunch that I wasn't eligible to log: Challenge Caches. You see, I don't have a lot of caching finds. I am working on it though ;-) Still, I kept hoping that there'd be challenges that a beginner like me would be able to log. So with the encouragement and help from my grandson, we decided to hide some along the wonderful Harrisburg Greenbelt. With the permission from the Susquehanna Twp. Parks Department, of course.

In order to hide a Challenge Cache you yourself have to qualify, so I'm hoping that cachers of all experience levels will be able to log these finds. The Difficulty level reflects the challenge difficulty (and find difficulty if you choose to use the attached spoiler picture) while the Terrain level is indicative of the physical challenge you'll be facing.

------

This is a challenge cache; you must meet the requirements in order to log a find. There's probably a 99% chance that you do but there's a checker way below just in case. OK, now how do you qualify for this challenge?

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE dogs. My geocaching avatar is my agility-loving poodle and this cache's background pic was taken of him while caching at Wildwood!

So to qualify you need to have found just 24 geocaches with a DOGS ALLOWED attribute. Of my 93 finds at the time of cache publication I have 38 dogs allowed caches. You probably have a lot more. This find could be simple to get to or be very difficult depended on the season or creek water levels. My grandson helped me with this hide and that's him in the spoiler pic.
