This cache is located near Ephrata, in Central Washington's Columbia Basin, Rocky Ford offers Washington's best stream fishing for large rainbow trout. It is a great spot for fly fishing. Since Rocky Ford is a spring creek, trout food is abundant, water temperatures remain pretty constant year around and trout remain active 365 days a year. Just remember the rules and regulations for fishing this creek. It is a barbless hook and artificial bait creek.
To locate this cache, you can take Neppel Rd NE and turn right down a gravel road, which will be marked with a Public Fishing sign. Follow the road to the end and you will find a parking lot with an outhouse. On foot, proceed pass the gate and follow towards the cache.
This cache is located next to a big boulder the reminds me of the planet Jupiter with all of the markings on the rock. The cache is a black sprinkler tube with a green geocaching sticker on the outside.
We placed this cache here on this gorgeous October fall day. We enjoy our walks together, while holding hands and taking in Mother Nature's beauty. I hope you do too.
