So happy to find an available spot down here. This place has it all: a waterfall, an interesting hike, a little-known Hollywood history, and the legacy of being the location of one of my first caching finds ever. I originally found the previous cache located near here back in 2007 - BoneyK find #4. I never verified that this place was used in the filming of the 1981 blockbuster "Quest for Fire", but I've told people it was, so would like to believe I'm not a liar.
Cache is a larger Micro, hidden in the crook of a maple tree at chest to head height, under a rock. There is some climbing on a steep slope involved. Great waterfall views nearby
