This season, we’re going to look at the top 50 favorite geocaches in the USA. How many have you found? Me? I’ve found 2 of the top 50…

I sorted the list by number of favs low to high. #50 is lowest and #1 will be highest number of favorite points.

All pertinent information on these caches will be based upon this list I created on July 15, 2023.

#39 with 1190 Favorite Points: https://coord.info/GC2C32: USA, All the way South

                                                     A cache by metacognate

Virtial 1 / 1 – Placed 12/10/2001 – Last found 10/31/2023

Southern-most point in the Continental US: Key West, Florida.

This is billed as the southern most point in the continental U.S.A. It's a 7 foot high, 7 foot wide mound of cement, painted yellow, black, white and red. It's supposed to be 90 miles from this point to Cuba.

To get credit for finding the cache e-mail the date it was dedicated, then record your find. No need to wait for a reply.

This cache is easily accessed by car. (Get out and walk 5 feet.)

There were no caches this far south in the keys, so I figured I'd add this virtual one. It's a neat point to have at least.

Location: Key West, Florida
