Milford Hollow is a beautiful little nature spot hidden between housing a tall wall. With little, winding woodchip footpaths amongst wildflower planting and a lovely seating area where you can sit, relax and listen to the birds, it really is an amazing place to find.
The site is owned by Salisbury City Council, who have supported the work of a local residents group called the Milford Are Preservation Group in preserving this area and returning it from the rubbish laden wasteland that it once was.
You will now, depending on the time of year, find bluebells, wild parsley, wild garlic, blackthorn, cowslip, cyclamen, honesty and a wide range of other wild planting amongst this tree-filled glade.
