So I drive by this location fairly often. After getting a newer car a while ago I approached this curve when suddenly the car navigation system yells at me CURVE AHEAD. I was lost in thought, with the radio off, so it scared me to death. I nearly missed the curve because I wasn't expecting the very loud warning. After about a dozen trips past this curve and one dreadful trip down Hwy 190 into Panamint Springs, CA.*, I finally figured out how to turn the blasted warning feature off.
Please replace the cache as found and watch out for muggles.
*Imagine your car yelling at you, rather loudly and non-stop for about 15 to 20 minutes... "CURVE AHEAD" while navigating a steep, downhill, very curvy road. It was not helpful.
