Many geocachers that I've talked to seem to also enjoy genealogy. After all, it's about finding what you're searching for, whether it be a geocache or discovering something new about an ancestor.
Coordinates will take you a location to get further coords. These coords will take you to the front door of where you begin your search. You will need to track down the cache from there. Before going after the cache, you might want to read the hint and look closely at the cache page to find what is needed to find the final cache container containing the log.
