E is for Exploring which is one thing that gives me great pleasure...exploring new trails. This one brought us to Mud Pond (see map below). Most of the trails here are very flat, but access to the ponds does require that one walks downhill for a bit.
On this satellite image, several “roads” are superimposed. The red arrow on the map is the location for parking and one of the geocaches. The red stars show where other geocaches are hidden. More to come as I continue exploring.
Please be aware, hunting is allowed here. Wear bright orange. Or better yet, visit this land on a Sunday when hunting in Maine is not allowed.
This cache is pint sized and painted dull green. It is not winter friendly.
