La foce del Liscia
Se dalla zona di Porto Liscia guardiamo ad oriente, vediamo la spiaggia estendersi a lungo circondata da basse dune, ricoperte di vegetazione. Nella zona centrale verso la foce del fiume, prende il nome di spiaggia di Sciumara del Liscia. l’aspetto è abbastanza uniforme, sino alla zona della foce vera e propria.
Qui le acque del Liscia confluiscono nel mare. Verso sud si osserva con meraviglia l’ambiente fluviale, di grande interesse naturalistico. La zona della foce è una destinazione ideale per gli amanti della canoa e del birdwatching.
Il luogo si raggiunge con una deviazione dalla SS133 verso Porto Pollo; la macchina si può lasciare in un vasto parcheggio a pagamento nelle immediate vicinanze della spiaggia. Se preferite stare fuori dalla folla prendete i sentieri che si dirigono a sinistra (guardando il mare) e che attraverso un bel percorso tra dune di sabbia chiara e fine, dove cresce la bassa vegetazione dunale e fioriscono i gigli di mare e altri fiori, vi porta ad una zona meno frequentata dove piantare il vostro ombrellone.
Essendo un tratto di costa spesso esposto al vento, se da una parte è il regno del windsurf, dall'altra parte, verso la foce del fiume, è invece quello del kitesurf. Non solo le evoluzioni dei colorati paracaduti che sfrecciano sopra il mare, ma anche la spiaggia dove decine di praticanti sono uno spettacolo da non perdere che vi aiuterà a scacciare la noia da spiaggia.

The mouth of the Liscia
If we look east from the Porto Liscia area, we see the beach extending for a long time surrounded by low dunes, covered with vegetation. In the central area towards the mouth of the river, it is called the Sciumara del Liscia beach. the appearance is quite uniform, up to the actual mouth area.
Here the waters of the Liscia flow into the sea. Towards the south you can marvel at the river environment, of great naturalistic interest. The mouth area is an ideal destination for canoeing and birdwatching lovers.
The place can be reached with a detour from the SS133 towards Porto Pollo; the car can be left in a large paid car park in the immediate vicinity of the beach. If you prefer to stay out of the crowd, take the paths that head to the left (looking at the sea) and which, through a beautiful path between dunes of light and fine sand, where the low dune vegetation grows and sea lilies and other flowers bloom, will take you it leads to a less frequented area where you can plant your umbrella.
Being a stretch of coast often exposed to the wind, if on one side it is the kingdom of windsurfing, on the other side, towards the mouth of the river, it is that of kitesurfing. Not only the evolutions of the colorful parachutes that zoom above the sea, but also the beach where dozens of practitioners are a sight not to be missed that will help you chase away beach boredom.
