Maybe two weeks after the terror attack this place has become officially known as The Hostages and Missing Square. Nearly 250 people were kidnapped to Gaza.
Daily update - 12/2/24 - after over 128 days, tonight 2 hostages were rescued in a military operation. 130 (+4 from years ago) are still in gaza. Although it is estimated about 100 are alive.
Daily update - 7/4/24 - one hostage from Nir Oz was returned to Israel dead (was probably killed in January), and current total number now stands on 133.
Daily update - 24/5/24 - after recent developments in which more hostages were returned to Israel dead (were killed on Oct.7th), current total number now stands on 125.
Today was my first visit to the square. I met few of the families. And walked between the sad art exhibits.
