Geocache Description:

You are looking for a  micro. It used to be a fake acorn (hence the cache title) but is now a bison tube. Be careful of cars that may pass by.

The park was created in 1890. It began life as farmland and a group of meadows known as "five fields" and many of the ancient boundary oaks can still be seen.

Queen Mary was a regular visitor to the park. She loved to view the American Garden, famous for its rhododendrons which are spectacular when they're in bloom in May. One of the park gates is named after her.

Dulwich park opens at 7.30 am. Closing times vary during the year from 4.30pm in winter to 9.30pm in the summer.

Parking is available in the park for £2 per hour. There is usually space on the nearby roads where you can park for free.
