Pex hill is a favourite walk for our little Jug Arthur. Woodland trails & paths down to the quarry with views across to Liverpool city & Snowdonia mountains across the farmland.
Athurs cache is a nice size tub filled with trinkets. A black screw lit tub topped with a tiny lego head & Geocache written all over it.
Pex is a pretty peaceful, quiet spot with a few dog walkers where Arthur gets to socialise a bit. You can spend an hour or so wandering the woodland & quarry or head straight from the car park, down the steps & follow the green metal fence down the hill to the farmers field.
The cache can be found at the base of the last tree in the corner, Covered by a mossy rock.
When the cache is found & log signed, Please return the rock over the tops so it remains hidden. Arthur will be checking on his almost daily walks around Pex.
This is a nice quick walk for all ages, or, take as long as you like to take in the woodland & views across the Cronton countryside.
Have fun.
