The Christmas Waltz

Frosted windowpanes    Candles gleaming inside   Painted candy canes on the tree

Santa's on his way    He's filled his sleigh with things  Things for you and for meIt's that time of year

When the world falls in love  Every song you hear seems to say  "Merry Christmas  May your New Year dreams come true"

And this song of mine  In three-quarter time  Wishes you and yours the same thing too.

Waltz, (from German walzen, “to revolve”), highly popular ballroom dance is characterized by a step, slide, and step in 3/4 time.  The count is 123, 123, 123, 123.  The Skater's Waltz is based on Waldteufel's famous composition Les Patineurs, which means the skaters. The infectious 3/4 meter and new lyric depict a beautiful ice skating scene reflecting the skaters' movement and dance.

Join us for a quick meet and greet at Ice on the Landing, 1826  Reggie White, Blvd Chattanooga, Tn. We can spectate for free.  Food and beverages are available from food trucks.  After meeting and greeting those that choose can ice skate (there is a fee and reservations are recommended) or can go to a nearby restaurant for a meal.
