This area was a marshy field area with many creeks, known as Kawarainuma and Showanuma.
These creeks were consolidated to form a huge 31.3 ha pond, which was opened as Kuki Shobu Park in July 1977
to take advantage of the abundant greenery in the surrounding area.
There are boating and fishing areas around the large pond, a cycling road and jogging course surrounding the pond,
barbecues and bird watching in the midst of nature, and more,
The park is used by everyone from small children to the elderly as a place of relaxation and enjoyment.

この地域は、河原井沼、昭和沼といわれていたクリーク(小川)の多い湿田地帯でした。
このクリークを集約して31.3haの巨大な池とし、周囲の豊かな緑を活かす形で1977（昭和52）年7月に久喜菖蒲公園として開設されました。

3.下早見菖蒲線の沼側は、日曜・休日は駐車禁止が解除されます。
駐車場が満車の場合は、こちらもご利用ください。
平日・土曜日は駐車禁止ですので、停めないでください。
