January's Jostling Jagged Joists
Parking: There is some on street parking on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet on Laxton Road near the footpath sign that leads down to Green Lane for 1230 (see trail ahead waypoint) or find us in the reserve (published coords).
What: Join us as we coppice the mature Hazels to make stakes and binders for our hedge work in Hucclecote Meadows on the Sunday!
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary, however, if you have your own saw, loppers and gloves please do bring them along.
Green Lane can get quite wet after sustained rain, so wellies are recommended.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
