The road loses a lane here, but it's unclear why they have not recified that. The white line along the curb angles gently away from the gutter to make a smooth and gradual transition where the right lane goes away. Thing is, there's still a sign that warns against parking in the obvious safe-looking spot even though there's room enough for a geomobile behind the line. Ducking into the cul-de-sac about 100 feet south of the GZ seems like the safer bet.
Before you say it, I'll say it: there's a stong sense of Deja Vu connected with this place. I think I've found at least two different geocaches at or near this spot. Let's hope my hide is more long-lived.
