El Cerro del Tesoro
[English below]
Treasure Hill
In the Mexica culture, the hills were considered places of worship since they were thought to be "vases" filled with water but covered with earth on the outside. This theory was based on their observations, since the hills and mountains are the source of rivers, springs and even help to form the clouds. For all this is that to this day there are those who still put tributes and offerings in some mountains/hills, either at the base, trails or on the summits, as a way to give thank or to ask for water.
In this case I decided to place a small "treasure" at the base to honor the "Cerro del Tesoro" (Treasure Hill).
