This here concrete slab was built in 1823 by Jeremiah Moser. Jeremiah was an amateur astrophysicist and attempted to be the first person in Allen County to reach low-Earth orbit, utilizing a patent (still) pending method of a horse-powered trebuchet. It was upon this slab that his device sat, allowing him to reach the dizzying height of 82 feet.
