When placing the KT118 series back in 2022, the caches deliberately formed a circular walk. At the time we incorporated a few pre-existing caches, where they fitted into the fairy ring. There wasn’t much room between KT118.15 and KT118.16, but after the deforestation of the Wood, it would’ve been criminil not to put out a replacement. So here it is!
If any cachers have been down this path before then don’t worry, you’re not tripping, you may have searched around here in the past… 😉 Magic!
The cache will be obvious when you see it. Do not try to move anything natural-looking that fits the clues — it’s not the cache!
The KT118 Walk
This cache sits nicely on the route of a series of caches placed for the 118ᵗʰ KT caching event.
You will need a pen or pencil to sign the log of this cache. The difficulty rating of this cache reflects the difficulty obtaining a good GPS signal under the trees and the disguised nature of the cache container.
Please obey all signs, the cache is only a metre or so from the edge of the path. Take care with children and animals, at all times, while walking down the roads to this cache from the suggested parking area. We welcome logs highlighting any issues or suggestions for improvement. Good luck everyone!
