Copper is an element essential to life, and with this in mind, I have created a series of caches featuring wildlife that have 'copper' in their names and that all truly delight me.
This final copper delight along this trail is the Coppery Brushtail Possum.
The coppery brushtail possum is a marsupial possum that lives in Australia, in the Atherton Tablelands area of Queensland, and is considered a subspecies of the common brushtail possum. It lives in the tree canopy in rainforest ecosystems, where it lives in dens which are often tree hollows. It is nocturnal and spends half the night foraging. The tail of this possum is quite bushy, hence its name, and is prehensile at the end allowing it to grasp branches. The coppery brushtail possum primarily eats leaves, particularly eucalyptus, but experiments have shown that it will choose a variety of plants to eat to maximize its ability to process harmful plant byproducts.

Note 1 - Most if not all caches in this series can be reached from the trail. None are more than one step off the trail.
Note 2 - As always when I place caches in this park, I have provided very specific hints since this gps readings here can be very jumpy.
