Geocache Description:

This is the 21st cache of my Australian Alps Walking Track Revisited Series. I completed the whole track end to end in 2004 before I started caching, so decided to create a series on it hi-lighting some of the best and some of the hardest parts.

This one is another tricky one to get to with steep ups and downs...

The cache is not at the listed Coordinates. To work out GZ, you need to checkout the nearby information Signs. The cache is located just off the AAWT.

Sign 1: Jordan Hotel(Listed Coords) - Number Bedrooms=A, c.IE6D

Sign 2: Post Office - Under "Postal Statistics" 1906 Postmaster Salary=FG, 10 pence for the first how many minutes conversation=C

Sign 3: Heartbeat of the Town - Second Digit of the year the town closed=B

Sign 4: Cemetery - Gazetted on ? August 1870=J, Cemetery Opens at ?am=H

GZ: S37 AB.CDE E146 FG.HIJ

Checksum: South=35 East=36.

You are looking for an ammo can appropriately painted red.

As per normal practice, please make sure the cache is well hidden when you put it back.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
