Mole's Leap Year day CITO
I haven't held a CITO in a while and so decided to hold one in the village again - this isn't in conjuction with the local village clean up which is done every year which we have been involved with before - but because this geocaching event is held on a very specific day - 29th February this will just be us geocachers. Please ensure you log your intention to attend as we will need to have an idea of numbers attending to organise where cleaning up will take place.
For geocachers, finding caches or attending events on the 29th February is a popular thing as since they only happen once every 4 years it means filling that particular square on the calendar grid is a must do when the chance arises. If you miss it, you wont be able to do it again for another 4 years.
So what better way to fill that square than with a CITO event - a clean up in the village is always welcome too.
Please bring a Hi-Viz, gloves and a litter picker if you have them as we do not have any supplies (sorry) and any spares if you have them too - we will have a brief meeting at the starting co-ords for H&S and will divide attendees into groups to go off in different directions - all meeting back at the Village Hall a couple of hours later.
We have been allowed to use the car park with the kind permission of the village hall committee.
