The title of this cache is a relatively common English saying, and is often used as a lighthearted way of trying something for the third time, having a third drink, etc.
This cache is part of a series. In each of three cache containers (including this one), there is a word taped on the underside of the lid that you need to collect. You then need to combine these three words to find a fourth “Bonus” cache (GCAHX4M).
What three words you ask? Well, you will just have to find all three caches to see!
Each of the items below has something to do with the number three, though the statements might seem cryptic.
For each item, calculate the letter sum (a=1, b=2, etc.) for all occurrences of “?” in the answer. For example, if the question were: “????? is the integer that comes after two.”, then the answer would be “Three”, which has a letter sum of 56, calculated from: T(20) + h(8) + r(18) + e(5) + e(5) = 56
Also notice that the number of “?” in an item represents the number of letters in the answer.
