Cache is placed for the 2024 Waukesha Winter Janboree -
Missile Park from 1956-1971 was a government owned launch site for Nike Ajax and Hercules Missiles. The command center was located at what is now Hillcrest Park in Waukesha and this area, known as Missile Park was undeveloped for many years until the Waukesha Great Lakes Water Supply project project took over the bottom of the hill and built massive new water tanks and a water tower. The top of the hill parking area has a great view of these and southern Waukesha.
The two reference points are concrete slabs where the missiles would have been housed.
Beware of muddy ground here - you'll want to bring boots or an old pair of shoes. Cache is inside an old geo container - please leave prop with logbook in the cache. Thanks for jspleva for creating the prop!
