Join us for the SaGe March Meet & Greet!
Where: Wright Square Area, near Tomochichi's Grave Site
Time: 6 PM - 6:30 PM
Why: Our monthly meet and greet. This is the first one we are holding in the Historic District. We thought we'd bring it closer to the action and maybe have a few out-of-town geocachers join us! You'll see the preparations for the big St. Patrick's Day Parade to be held, the next day, Saturday, March 16th. These squares will be packed with people on Saturday, but not yet, the land run is in the morning! If you're from out of town, you can ask the locals some questions about the Parade the next day.
What is a SaGe Meet & Greet? All geocachers are invited to come meet & greet & eat with other local geocachers, regardless of where you live or how much geocaching experience you have. There is no membership and you are NOT required to purchase food or beverage from the restaurant, if the event is at one.
About SAGE: A group of cachers from Savannah and the surrounding area have been working to put on events, CITO events, and hide caches in new areas. We also host a monthly meet & greet! SAGE2023 (SAvannah GEocaching) moniker was created to bring cachers together! We intend to occasionally have informative meetings, CITO events, flash mob events, and other group events. The goal is to get to know the other geocachers in our community and have a good time fellowshipping with each other. And, finally put faces with the names you keep seeing in the logs!
