El lago Churup, situado directamente en la montaña adyacente Churup (5.495 m), es una popular excursión de un día que puede iniciarse desde Huaraz. Una caminata allí también es muy adecuada como excursión de aclimatación. El ascenso dura unas 3 horas e incluye algunos tramos de escalada, pero también pueden evitarse tomando una ruta alternativa.
Cómo llegar
Tome un colectivo en dirección a Pitec, que salen a partir de las 7 de la mañana en el cruce de Av. Agustín Gamarra/Antonio Raymondi. Google Maps también conoce el lugar, busque Paradero Pitek, Laguna Churup. El viaje dura aproximadamente una hora y cuesta 10 soles.

Lake Churup, which is located directly on the adjacent mountain Churup (5,495m), is a popular day hike you can start from Huaraz. A hike there is also well suited as an acclimatization tour. How to get there
