Our Lady of the River
Built in 1931 by the Anglican Church orginally named St Peters
local Catholics took over when congregation numbers dropped ,renamed Our Lady of the River , destroyed by cyclone Fehi 1st Feberery 2018 ,
the almost 90 year wooden Church was blowen of its piles then flooded by nearby river.
You are looking for a waterproof container containing log book , nested away near entrance of Church , you dont have to enter Church grounds.
There is a picnic table there so to sit and admire veiw of Mount Cook on a fine day.
