10 years ago, on 19 January 2014, the HeMaLuDy caching name was created and we found our first geocache. From that point on we were hooked.
About 13 years ago we first heard of geocaching and we had a quick look then, and noticed there was a cache in this general vicinity but with no GPS, and smart phones were not a thing then in our house we had no idea how to really search. We forgot about it for a while until other friends signed up and told us about it 10 years ago and with a smart phone we were off. We have placed this anniversary cache here, as it was near here that was the very beginnnig of our caching journey - albeit not the actual creating of an account.
