1988年（昭和63）年、瀬戸大橋開通後の観光客の増加を見込んで建設された。元々は大規模ドライブインであったが後にホテルに改装。世界一の高さを誇る回転式展望塔を備えた。It was built in 1988 in anticipation of the increase in tourists following the opening of the Great Seto Bridge. Originally a large-scale drive-in, it was later converted into a hotel. It is equipped with a revolving observation tower, the tallest in the world.
