Geocache Description:

Hartfield Park Dog Recreation Area, a little parkland almost forgotten, nestled amongst footy & hockey ovals, bordering a fence line with a golf course (hunt for stray golf balls on your journey – we found 7). Plenty of off lead dog area, with small bush trails, easy parking and a manmade lake (large pond really) for your 4-legged children to cool down in (hint bring a doggy towel). Theres a small natural playground and large climbing frame for the 2-legged animals too. Please remember to clean up after both 2 and 4 legged children when using the area.

In keeping with our school holiday’s theme, half the fun is shopping for and making these caches. We combined a nice walk with our dog and some cache hiding too. Lola getting funny looks from the odd muggle when carrying a clipboard through the bush and Cayden receiving similar when repeating his approaches to the new cache spot from 3 different directions.

Relatively simple hides with the standard Systema containers. A sealed log and pencil inside, you may wish to bring your own pen. Space for small swappable, tokens and a small travel bug too.

Please watch your six, there’s Muggles afoot also the standard Aussie bush warning to any who venture into Mother Natures back yard… things bite, sting, crawl and slither.

Please return to original and possibly covered position.
