Nothing special about this event, only a reason to get out and watch the sunset, use some of your toys, beg a friend for a ride or take a nice long hike to visit with some out of state geocachers and grab an event on Leap Day. But seriously don't leap, the edge is really high.

We are in town for United by Bronco on Leap Day. Last time I was here I was able to get some awesome pictures of the sunset near this location. This is not for the average Subaru to get to. You will need a good 4WD vehicle, sand rail, ATV, UTV, or really good hiking boots for a 7-8 mile hike in sand. And be prepared for a trip back out in the dark.

Please note: This event is within the BLM Sand Mountain OHV area and has regulations and requirements for entry and travel within the area. Please do due diligence in finding out the requirements for your mode of travel to the event. Also if you come from Sand Hollow State Park a fee is required and also special requirements.
