While on my way to Everest Base Camp, I discovered this nice little Buddhist Monastery of Khumjung near Pangboche. Here in this six-hundred-year-old Monastery, they have a replica of a Yeti's hand (the original was stolen) and a portion of a Yeti's skull. The monastery is located at 13,074 feet. The Monastery contains many masks and pray scrolls. It is a short walk from any hotel in Pangboche.

To be able to log this virtual cache, take a photo of yourself holding your entry ticket to the Monastery or a card with your Geocaching name on it at the front door of the Monastery (see my photo at the monastery as an example). It's a great side trip.
