As a regular visitor to Exmouth, I make time on almost every trip to head up to the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and watch the sun go down. It is genuinely one of the best sunset locations I have experienced. Being on the right (well left) side of the country, WA boasts the best sunsets in the country - without doubt.

Ningaloo Coast is a world heritage area and has a fascinating background. At the listed coordinates you will find some information panels that detail just some of the coast and town's history. There are some more information panels just to the South of the lighthouse, for you to check out as as well.
Adjacent to the anchor is a plaque relating to the SS Mildura. The Mildura wreck is not far away and can be seen from where you are, if you look closely. Pay attention to the information on the plaque, that will help you answer Q1. The anchor itself is from the Mildura.

To log this Virtual Cache, you need to visit two waypoints. One at the listed coordinates and the other at the Lighthouse, annotated as WP1. At the waypoints, obtain the answers for the questions and satisfy the photographic evidence pieces. Failure to meet any of the requirements will see your found log deleted and nobody wants that, so please read carefully.
At the Listed Coordinates:
1. Read the information on the SS Mildura Plaque and answer the question - How many points did the Captain haul the vessel out?
2. Using the anchor ring as a 'picture frame', take a photograph of yourself (head / face is optional), something that clearly identifies you with your geocaching name and the date of your visit, through the ring. Upload the picture to your found log. A sample photo is provided in the gallery.
At the Lighthouse (WP1):
1. Find the 'A Beacon Born of Disaster' information panel and answer the question - The light in the lighthouse operated until 1967. What was it replaced by and what location is the replacement?
2. Take a photograph with the ligthouse door and four digit date above the archway, clearly in view. The photo must include yourself (head / face is optional) or something that identifies you with your caching name. Upload the picture to your found log. A sample photo is provided in the gallery.
You may log your find immediately, but please ensure your photos are attached to the log. Your caching name and date of visit must be clearly visible in the photo at the anchor. At the lighthouse, either yourself or your caching name is ok. See the sample photos below.
Please send me the answers to the two questions within 7 days of your log via the message option on my profile.
