Västerås - Gurkstaden
Gurka har odlats i Västerås sedan 1700-talet. Bernhard Johan Bohnsack tog in frön som han började odla i slottsträdgården som ligger där Vasaparken ligger idag. Under hela 1800-talet exporterades gurka från Västerås till Norge, Danmark och Tyskland. Från Vasaparken har man en bra sikt mot Västerås stadshustorn som befinner sig på de publicerade koordinaterna.
För att få logga denna viruella cache så ta ett foto av stadshustornet vid de postade koordinaterna med en lapp med ditt nick och datum. Du behöver inte vara med på bilden själv om du inte vill.
Som en extra valfri uppgift kan du ta en bild av en gurka av någon sort tillsammans med tornet. Färsk, inlagd, hel, skivad eller i stavar spelar ingen roll. Hitta en vy du tycker om. Låt fantasin flöda.

Västerås - Cucumbercity
Cucumbers have been grown in Västerås since the 18th century. Bernhard Johan Bohnsack brought in seeds that he began growing in the castle garden that is located where Vasaparken is today. Throughout the 19th century, cucumbers were exported from Västerås to Norway, Denmark and Germany. From Vasaparken you have a good view of Västerås city hall tower.
To log this virtual cache, take a photo of the city hall tower at the posted coordinates with a note with your name and date. You don't have to be in the photo yourself if you don't want to.
As an extra optional task, you can take a photo of a cucumber of any kind with the tower. Fresh, pickled, whole, sliced or in sticks, it doesn't matter. Find a view you like. Let your imagination run wild.
