S. Miro
Legata alla vicenda dell'eremita Miro, che da Canzo sarebbbe giunto in alto Lario stendendo il suo mantello sulle acque del lago, la chiesa venne ricostruita nel 1452 e nell'anno seguente dedicata a san Miro.
Nell'interno a tre navate, in parte coperte da volte in muratura e in parte a tetto in vista, sono affreschi di Sigismondo De Magistris (1526), altri del XVI secolo e una tela del Fiammenghino (1615).
Questo luogo magico, da cui si gode una vista spettacolare, suscita in me tanti bei ricordi e ho quindi voluto posizionare qui il mio Virtual Reward.
Come loggare la virtual cache:
scatta una foto a scelta di:
- te stesso (non è obbligatorio che nella foto si veda il tuo volto);
- del tuo pollice/mano/braccio;
- del tuo GPS/smartphone/zaino/trackable;
- di un foglio con nickname e data;
il background deve essere la chiesa oppure il panorama.
Infine carica la foto nel log.

Linked to the story of the hermit Miro, who came from Canzo to the upper Lario and spread his cloak over the waters of the lake, the church was rebuilt in 1452 and dedicated to San Miro the following year. In the interior with three naves, partly covered by masonry vaults and partly with an exposed roof, there are frescoes by Sigismondo De Magistris (1526), others from the 16th century and a canvas by Fiammenghino (1615).
This magical place, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view, arouses many beautiful memories in me and I therefore wanted to place my Virtual Reward here.
How to log the virtual cache:
take a photo of your choice between:
- yourself (it is not mandatory that your face is seen in the photo);
- your thumb/hand/arm;
- your GPS/smartphone/backpack/trackable;
- a sheet of paper with nickname and date;
the background must be the church or the landscape.
Finally upload the photo to the log.
