We decided to explore this road today to see what's out here and found this rock that looks a bit like a constructed home chimney. But it isn't, it's a natural erosion of rock and it looks pretty neat. The cache is hidden nearby under a small rock shelf and covered with a couple of smaller rocks. It is a bit of a challenge to get here. The road out, by and large, is very good, but it's been a bit washed out at N38.91, W109.10 but there is a way around just a little south, best attempted with a UTV or ATV, but a good 4WD may work. This is a recent development at this location. The second challenge is at Horseshoe Spring at N38.916, W109.121. It's a bit intimidating to think about crossing, but we got across just fine, and the road on the other side is in excellent condition. An alternate way into the area starts at N38.921, W109.084. It's a fun area to explore. Log only - BYOP.
Congrats to PeachBob and Gotllamas for the FTF!
