What you're looking for is on a hill, where the tree line begins (and is also a little thin). That's where you'll see a lanky pine with the top lopped off, likely from recent storms. There is an easement where you can safely pull in and get to the cache.
Fun Fact: Did you know táyshaʼ is the Caddo word for ‘friends’? It’s also part of how Texas got its name.

Trail of Three States:
Headless Pine is the 5th hide in an ongoing scenic series that will take you through three states, starting with one of my favorite backroads/ cut through in the rural Arkansas area where I grew up.
Beginning in Miller County, Arkansas on CR 73, across from the old Bright Star School, you will find a series of Arkansas caches first. Before you know it, as you continue straight on MC 73 through yet another fork in the road, you will go around a bend and find a modest CR sign to inform you that you are now in the Lone Star State at Cass County Road 4921.
Blink and you’ll miss the change, as now you will find yourself seamlessly caching the rest of the short Texas route of the road. You’ll cross a set of Railroad tracks and, soon after your backroad ends at Farm to Market Road 3129.
A left takes you into Louisiana, right takes you to Bloomburg, TX, and going straight across lead you into Atlanta, Tx.
My plan is to take you left into Louisiana for more fun and adventure. So, as I get more caches logged, keep a look out for even more fun finds! Happy Hunting!
