Take a stroll on the outside of the walkway in front of the Chesapeake Lofts Condos. The condos are located in the building originally constructed by Hinde & Dauch Paper Co. in the early 1920s. Hinde and Dauch Paper Co. invented corrugated boxes and became the largest producer of corrugated boxes worldwide. With headquarters in Sandusky, this manufacturing company expanded to 15 other plants around the world. The building was renovated into condos in 2009.
