Come celebrate Leap day with andPatsy and TheOtherHalf. Everyone is welcome to attend, weather you are a new cacher or a seasoned one. We will be meeting in the backroom of The Italian Moon. It has pizza and a buffet and a full menu. You don't have to buy anything if you don't wish. There will be cake and some boring stories from the GOM. (The Grumpy Old Man will assure the room will be warm.)
The Earth travels around the sun approximately 365.25 days. In order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical year or seasonal year an extra day is added every 4 years. This extra leap day occurs in each year that is a multiple of 4 (except for years evenly divisible by 100, but not by 400). Leap day is inserted into the calendar on February 29th and it's a great day to celebrate the birthdays of Beavis and Butthead. We are not sure which one is Beavis and which one is Butthead. We each have our ideas, but they all lean towards both are Buttheads at times. Maybe we can discuss this at the event.
