Welcome to Buchanan Park!
This park was named in honour of Robert and Euphemia Buchanan who, in their time, strove to award students who did well in school in the local area of Onehunga and Māngere Bridge. Learn more here.
The Geocache is located in a crumbling rock wall, about shoulder height. It kind of looks like a short pill bottle, made of plastic and clearly labeled. During the day there are usually plenty of muggles around, especially on weekends, so stealth is definetly required. The reserve empties in the evenings, but if you choose night as your time to venture there then stock up on mozzie spray and prepare for a slap battle with the many mosquitoes that dominate the rock wall when the sun goes down.
There are a few small trading items (SWAG) in the cache, but no room for anything too big. Not even a pen, so please bring your own!! Also please make sure to replace the cache exactly as you found it. Happy caching!
