5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

 

It's been a while since we cleaned this spot, and it shows. At this point, you are probably thinking to yourself, "OK HikingSeal, I know you are a CITO-ing fiend, but why are we doing this in winter AND on the day before the opportunity to earn the CITO Season 1 souvenir starts this year?" No, I have not finally lost my mind. (Hey! Stop that debating!) It's to allow people to earn a different set of pixels, specifically the Leap Day Add-on for The Environmental Cacher badge at Project-GC.

 

There is a Leap Day souvenir which requires finding four caches including labs and/or events today. This event will get you one-quarter of the way there. laugh

Sunset is 6:18 pm. We should be able to make the area look better before full dark. I'll supply trash bags and gloves. Bring your own grabbers, warm clothes, and maybe a headlamp. I'll also have the heater and hot chocolate smorgasbord available for the standing around and chatting that usually follows the cleaning.
