Soaring Eagle Regional Park and Duthie Hill Park abut the city and are on the plateau. East Lake Sammamish Trail runs along the eastern side of Lake Sammamish and connects to a regional trail system, like the Sammamish River Trailto the north, and the Issaquah-Preston Trail to the south.
