2024 is a leap year meaning that we will add one day to the end of February (a leap day) to extend the year by an additional day. Since leap year happens every four years, that means our last leap days were in 2016 and 2020 and the next will happen in 2028.
For some, this may actually be the first opportunity to fill the February 29th block on the calander grid and for everyone, it's an addtional day to get out and do some geocaching.
