The Brown Teddies and two nosy parkers are often to be found caching together, sometimes close to their homes, in NW England and the Midlands respectively, and sometime further afield. When caching together, we call ourselves Team Gallivant, after our families accused us of always gallivanting off to some place or another, with geocaching in mind. We are always happy to meet other cachers, share geo-talk, swap and discover trackables and get tips on good local caches.
We're meeting in the Round House Community Hub and Café and will be joined by Yolanda (caching as TheBayBlueprint) who is keen to get more muggles involved in geocaching as part of The Bay - A blueprint for Recovery, a Nature and Wellbeing Programme, which offers people around Morecambe Bay the opportunity to get outdoors and connect with nature. Yolanda is keen to meet and learn from experienced geocachers. We're hoping to have a new cache released on the day, to complete the Walney Planets series, and this event is followed by a CITO.
