Papermill Recreation Area
was the site of an early hand pressed papermill built by John Crosby in 1839. In more recent years it was a popular swimming area abouve the dam with changing rooms and a snack bar. The town took down the facilities when pollution was detected from the nearby dump.
The cache is located a ways downstream along the hiking trail. The park is open year round dawn till dark but deep snow may be an issue
