Come and help us collect litter at the beach in North Kessock. We're planning to walk along the beach and the small road north of Kessock Bridge. The recent storms have washed up plenty of rubbish.
When: 29th February, 9.30 to 11.00
Where: We will be underneath the bridge at the start and hand out black bin bags.
Please bring along litter pickers and gloves if possible. All small items of rubbish should be put into black bin bags, but if we find any larger items we can leave them with the bin bags. The bags and other items need to be taken back to the bridge at the end of the event, where we will stack them, add a note to make sure it doesn't look like fly tipping, and then the council will pick everthing up in the afternoon.
The tide should be low, but we would still recommend wearing sturdy shoes. If you are in a wheelchair or unable to walk on sand and stones, you could collect along the road instead. Every little helps!
